TAT License Required Documents

• Incorporation documents of the company (updated within 6 months). A majority of Thai nationality directors is required. A foreign director can’t sign documents related to the TAT License according to the Tourism Business and Tourist Guide Act, BE 2551 (2008).
• Signed copy of all director’s ID cards. If there are foreign director(s), a copy of passport and work permit must be provided.
• Copy of the House Registration of all directors, and permission letter, or rental agreement as signed by the house owner.
• Documents that can prove the house ownership rights, such as House Deed, purchase agreement, etc.
• Location (Map) of the company address signed by the director.
• Photograph of the company: in front, inside, the house number, and the company’s sign (durable).
• A copy of insurance policy and accident insurance for the tourists and tour guides during the trip/traveling with the insured amount in case of death, dismemberment or disability not less than 1 million Baht per person, and in case of injury not less than five hundred thousand Baht per person, and the policy must have not less than 1 year from the date of application for a tourism business license.
• Security money for tourism business operations (choose 1 type)
  – In the case of a bank guarantee letter (according to the specified form)
  – In the case of cash or cashier cheque payable to tourism business
